I have lived at the Ferry for the last 24 years and on and off for the last 30 years. I have during my time at the Ferry built 4 Fishing Boats and used all of them to fish for Dover soles during the Summer months. During the mid seventies and into the mid eighties I fished during the Winter mainly for Cod.
My daughter Stephanie is now 24 and has been brought up entirely at the Ferry as has my Son Toby who is now 19.
They both enjoy the freedom the Ferry has given them over the years as there are many places to play and the Jetty to fish for crabs in the Summer.
As and when I get more time I will bore you with more useless information
Useless information
1. I like Cyprus, and after this Summer of 2007 I now know why I like Cyprus. Imagine being able to arrange a Bar-B-Q two weeks ahead. The sea at 29c and warm nights !!!!

My daughter Stephanie who is becoming somewhat of a hotmail fanatic, I have a job getting to my computer, or even using the phone! She's ok on the coffee machine but excels in the kitchen. Hates cars, well I think so cos she's now on her 3rd in as many months. She and her partner Gavin have taken over the Swan at Westerfield, I wish her and Gavin all the best.... I hope things work out well with their new venture. |
